Let more overseas Chinese share the glory of the motherland
The September 3rd military parade will showcase a great many advanced and new types of weapons and equipment. Our troops and our motherland are very powerful. Anyone who wants to invade China or interfere with our peaceful reunification should think twice. In 2021, I was invited to attend the grand ceremony celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.
I have participated in many major events of my motherland, and I am still very excited this time. Many people are looking forward to the September 3rd military parade. During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, over 3,200 overseas Chinese mechanics from the South crossed thousands of miles and oceans to return to their motherland to support the war. Fang Zhiwei, whose ancestral home is Zhongshan, Guangdong Province, is the grandson of Fang Zuobiao, a well-known overseas Chinese leader in Fiji. After the outbreak of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Fang Zuobiao sold his family property and used his life savings to purchase one fighter jet to donate to his motherland. He also mobilized overseas Chinese in New Zealand, Australia and other places to donate three fighter jets. My grandfather was a patriotic businessman. Although he didn't have a high level of education, he was very patriotic. He named his child "Guoqiang", "Fumin", "Xing", etc., hoping that the next generation would remember that "there is no home without a country". I have now also sent my daughter back to China, hoping to carry forward Chinese culture and tell good Chinese stories. Fang Zhiwei said.
